Welcome to ViVuLesson. This agreement governs the legal rights, obligations, and responsibilities between you and ViVuLesson when accessing our smart study outline services. Please review these Terms carefully before using the platform.

ViVuLesson is an educational technology platform providing smart study assistance (hereinafter referred to as "ViVuLesson", "we", "us"). The platform delivers online digital services to learners.

2. Acceptance of Terms
2.1. By registering, signing in, or using any feature on ViVuLesson, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
2.2. If you disagree with any provision in these Terms, please immediately discontinue use of the platform.
2.3. If you are under 16 years of age, you may only use ViVuLesson with the verified consent of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Service Description
3.1. ViVuLesson is a smart study companion platform that enables users to generate structured study materials from user-provided lecture recordings, including timestamped outlines, summaries, content search, subtitle translation, and exam review Q&A.
3.2. Specific features and duration quotas for each plan are detailed on our Pricing Page at the time of subscription.
3.3. ViVuLesson may enhance, adjust, or discontinue specific features to optimize system performance. In the event of modifications that materially diminish the benefits of your active plan, we will provide at least 7 days prior notice.
4. User Accounts
4.1. You sign in to ViVuLesson using your Google account. You remain solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities conducted under your workspace.
4.2. Each account is strictly for single-user access. Sharing, lending, transferring, renting, or reselling accounts is prohibited, except where a plan explicitly includes multi-member or institutional workspace features, wherein members must not exceed plan limits.
4.3. Each individual is permitted only one Free trial account. Creating multiple accounts to accumulate trial quotas is strictly considered a terms violation.
5. Plans, Pricing, Quotas & Payment Regulations
5.1. Pricing & Taxes: All service prices listed on the ViVuLesson platform represent final all-inclusive prices, including applicable statutory taxes and regulatory fees. Customers pay the exact amount presented during checkout without any hidden processing charges from ViVuLesson.
5.2. Quota Measurement: Quotas are measured by the total duration of lecture media processed (hours/minutes). Maximum duration per single lecture is defined per tier.
5.3. Quota Validity & Terms:
• Monthly subscription quotas remain valid for 30 days from activation and do not roll over to subsequent billing cycles.
• Add-on hours: Applicable strictly to accounts with active paid plans; add-on hours remain valid throughout the active duration of your current monthly subscription.
• Deduction order: Monthly plan hours are consumed first; add-on top-up hours are deducted thereafter.
5.4. Fair Usage Policy: To safeguard platform reliability for all learners, reasonable usage thresholds (such as search volume or monthly top-up transactions) may apply per plan, as listed on the Pricing Page.
5.5. Payments & Instant Activation: Payments are completed via SePay payment gateway using instant banking VietQR. Subscriptions are automatically activated once verified by the banking system.
5.6. Voluntary Renewal: Monthly plans never auto-debit bank accounts. Users remain in complete control and renew voluntarily whenever they wish.
6. Refund Policy, Transaction Dispute Resolution & Consumer Protection
6.1. A Free trial tier is provided so you can evaluate platform capabilities before upgrading. Accordingly, subscription and add-on fees are non-refundable, except under explicit technical failure or billing error scenarios in Sections 6.3 and 6.4.
6.2. Non-Refundable Scenarios:
(a) Failure to utilize or fully exhaust quota hours during the 30-day validity window;
(b) Subjective changes in personal study plans or accidental plan selection after activation;
(c) Substandard audio quality in source lecture files (severe distortion, muted audio, background noise overpowering speech) resulting in lower recognition accuracy;
(d) Account suspension or termination resulting from deliberate platform violations.
6.3. Scenarios Eligible for 100% Refund or Quota Credit:
(a) Activation Failure: Payment settled successfully but subscription failed to activate within 12 - 24 hours and support cannot resolve;
(b) Duplicate Billing: Redundant transfers processed for the exact same order (100% refund of duplicate amounts);
(c) Extended Outage: Platform downtime exceeding 72 consecutive hours during a billing cycle: ViVuLesson extends validity or issues a proportionate refund.
6.4. Refund Method & Processing Timeframe:
• Refund Method: Direct electronic bank transfer (VietQR) back to the exact bank account used by the customer for the original transaction.
• Expected Processing Time: From 3 to 7 business days following formal verification and approval by ViVuLesson support.
• Dispute Resolution Workflow: When encountering payment errors, customers submit bank receipts to [email protected] or via official ViVu Lesson Fanpage. ViVuLesson verifies and resolves issues within 12 - 24 hours.
6.5. Automatic Quota Restoration: If lecture processing encounters internal errors attributable to ViVuLesson, deducted duration is automatically restored to your available quota balance.
6.6. Consumer Rights Compliance: ViVuLesson’s dispute resolution and refund procedures strictly adhere to Vietnam’s Law on Consumer Protection and applicable e-commerce regulations. Send requests to [email protected].
7. Acceptable Use Rules
When accessing or utilizing ViVuLesson, you strictly agree NOT to engage in the following:
- 7.1. Uploading or linking to content that violates Vietnamese law, infringes third-party intellectual property or privacy, or breaches public morals.
- 7.2. Copying, cloning, or reproducing the user interface, feature workflow, system structure, or operation of ViVuLesson.
- 7.3. Reverse engineering, decompiling, inspecting, extracting proprietary source code, system architecture, or internal prompts/instructions.
- 7.4. Deploying automated bots, scrapers, or crawl scripts to access or extract data from ViVuLesson without prior written approval.
- 7.5. Using ViVuLesson outputs or services to benchmark, train, or develop a competing commercial product or service.
- 7.6. Bypassing duration limits, feature gates, payment mechanisms, or security safeguards implemented on ViVuLesson.
- 7.7. Reselling, sublicensing, or providing ViVuLesson services commercially to third parties without prior authorization.
- 7.8. Uploading malware or initiating stress testing/DDoS activities that threaten platform stability.
8. User Content & Ownership
8.1. You retain full ownership and intellectual rights over source lectures, media files, and external links submitted by you, as well as generated study outputs created for your account.
8.2. You warrant that you hold legitimate rights to submit the content and assume full responsibility regarding third-party copyright and legality.
8.3. Solely to deliver the service, you grant ViVuLesson a non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited license to receive, process, temporarily cache, and display content to you and parties you designate. This license terminates upon content deletion, except where retention is legally mandated.
8.5. Upon receipt of substantiated notice of infringement or statutory violation, ViVuLesson reserves the right to disable access to disputed materials and notify the user.
9. ViVuLesson Intellectual Property
9.1. All software, user interface design, visual assets, trademarks, "ViVuLesson" branding, and platform documentation are the exclusive property of ViVuLesson or its licensors.
9.2. These Terms do not grant or transfer to you any intellectual property rights over the platform, other than limited non-exclusive access granted under your active plan.
10. Nature of AI-Generated Content
10.1. Study outlines, summaries, subtitles, translations, and review quizzes are generated automatically via artificial intelligence. Outputs may occasionally contain inaccuracies, term discrepancies, or omissions.
10.2. Generated study assets serve purely as supplementary study aids. Users are advised to cross-check findings with primary lectures and official university curricula. ViVuLesson assumes no liability for examination scores or academic outcomes.
11. Third-Party Services & Links
11.1. ViVuLesson supports connecting video sources from external platforms such as Google Drive or YouTube. Such integration remains subject to the respective terms and privacy policies of those third-party providers.
11.2. ViVuLesson is not liable if an external video link is deleted, permissions change, or playback fails due to causes beyond ViVuLesson control. In such events, study outlines already generated remain safely stored in your account.
12. Suspension & Service Termination
12.1. ViVuLesson reserves the right to suspend or discontinue services for accounts that breach these Terms:
- •For material violations (fraudulent payments, security attacks, illegal uploads, or breaches of Sections 7.2–7.5): immediate suspension may occur, followed by formal notification.
- •For other infractions: ViVuLesson will issue prior notice allowing a reasonable window for remediation.
12.2. You may discontinue using the platform at any time. Remaining quota duration hours are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
13. Limitation of Liability
13.1. ViVuLesson endeavors to maintain high availability but does not warrant uninterrupted, error-free operations. ViVuLesson is exempt from liability for disruptions caused by scheduled maintenance, ISP failures, cloud backbone outages, or force majeure events.
13.2. Users are strongly advised to keep personal backups of original lecture recordings and essential documents.
13.3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ViVuLesson’s total aggregate liability (if any) shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you to ViVuLesson in the 1 month preceding the event giving rise to liability.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
14.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
14.2. Any dispute shall first be settled via amicable negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, either party may submit the dispute to competent Vietnamese judicial authorities.
15. Amendments to Terms
15.1. ViVuLesson may update these Terms to reflect legal changes or ongoing platform enhancements.
15.2. For material changes affecting user rights, ViVuLesson will provide at least 7 days advance notice via email or website announcements. Continued platform access after effective date constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
